Irene Giambre (Yoga Teacher, Retreat Curator & our Italian Guide!)– An avid world traveler and dedicated student and teacher of yoga, Irene is so excited to have curated this very special Italy retreat just for YOU to her home country! On this retreat, travel like an Italian under the expert guidance of one of Italy’s own and featuring all the most beautiful elements of what Irene’s home offers!

Born in a small fishing village outside of Rome Italy and after completing her studies at the National Dance Academy of Rome, Irene moves to London with the dream of traveling the world. Immersed in the chaotic city life, she found yoga and experienced healing from this powerful practice. Curious to learn more, her path brought her to meet Katie Ribsam, director of Yoga Bohemia and creator of the Wave Method of Vinyasa. Irene completed her 200hr YTT certification under Katie and Daniel Castro.

Travelling and opening up to her intuition, Irene caught new opportunities, following the energy of the infinite universe and mother nature and reading the right signs which lead her to complete her 300hrs YTT in 2021. Irene is a passionate learner and truly fascinated with the wisdom that yoga brings. She enjoys connecting with all people and exchanging experiences.

Erin Kelly (Coordinator) - is back again as your coordinator, here in her favorite role as retreat extraordinaire, bringing the passion to your experience!  Coming up in the same lineage as Katie Ribsam, under the discipline of Micheal Cemone in Princeton NJ, she found her love for yoga.  Meditation and cultivation of a personal practice formed a lifelong bond for the discipline. Indulging in retreats throughout her twenties, she became a self proclaimed 'yoga retreat junkie'!  As world travel was always her personal pursuit, it seemed only natural that Erin joined the Yoga Bohemia International Retreat team from the start, with a depth of skill and knowledge.  She co-hosted Bohemia Retreats very first international retreat in Tulum, Mexico and countless after, becoming a familiar face and part of the fabric of the Yoga Bohemia Retreat experience. Erin studied western Psychology in the states, earning her degree from Stockton University in 2007.  Receiving her YTT in 2021 with Bohemia School of Yoga, her repertoire only became richer!  Professional hospitality as a trade, traveling as a mission of the heart, Erin's skill set shines on retreat, tending to clients' needs and  always adding a personal touch.  A true lover of nature, yoga, gardening, hiking, kayaking, reading, writing, and eco-tourism, we are so proud to have her as an asset with us. Please feel free to connect with Erin throughout your process, from booking to experiential indulgence!

Jackie Luzzo (Yoga Teacher & Retreat Assistant) - Jackie discovered yoga a decade ago during her college years. Intrigued by its profound teachings, she seamlessly integrated the practice into her life while working in a treatment center following the completion of her degree.  In 2019, under the mentorship of Katie Ribsim, she achieved her 200-hour certification, followed by her 300-hour certification with the esteemed Bohemia School of Yoga in 2022.

Embracing her newfound expertise, Jackie assumed the role of manager at Yoga Bohemia in the same year. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in her ongoing studies under the guidance of Katie Ribsim and Jody Dommerstad, a distinguished Master Trainer at Yoga Bohemia. Jackie's multifaceted approach to yoga extends beyond the studio; fueled by her love of learning, she co-created a compelling yoga podcast with Jody. As the driving force behind the production, editing, and publication of each episode, Jackie ensures that her insightful content reaches audiences on various podcast platforms.

Jackie's connection to yoga is intertwined with her profound appreciation for Italian culture. Over the past two years, she has dedicated herself to studying the language and exploring the richness of Italy through extensive travels to cities such as Rome, Florence, Perugia, Bologna, Torino, Sorrento, and Venice.  Rooted in humor, compassion, and the encouragement for students to personalize their practice, Jackie brings a unique and enriching perspective to the vibrant community and cant wait too practice with you in Italy!
